Cappadocia Eco Lodge is about 750 kilometers at the South East of Istanbul and 300 kilometers from Ankara, capital of present day Turkey. The lodge is located in the heart of ancient Cappadocia region, 10 km from the town of Nevsehir, in a small town called Uchisar.

The closest airport is the Airport of Nevsehir located at Tuzkoy, 38 km from our lodge. Major airlines have regular flights to Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport (38 kilometers from the lodge) as well as to Kayseri Erkilet Airport (95 kilometers from the lodge). Kayseri is a major city with more air traffic, about 95 kms from the lodge. If you like to be picked up from any of those airports we can provide you a transfer service. Whether you come from Tuzkoy or from Kayseri your road trip to the guest house is a fascinating drive.

The area has is well connected to all major cities by motorways and divided highways. A bus ride from Istanbul will take you there in about 10 to 12 hours. Most backpackers prefer a night bus ride to the area. This way they save on the accommodation and time. Tour operators organizing cultural tours make their itineraries slowly visiting other places worth seeing on their ways. Driving from Istanbul there are several interesting places worth visiting. Ancient Nicomedia (Izmit), Bolu, Ankara, Kirsehir, Hacibektas, Gulsehir are interesting places where one can stop on the way. Nicea (Iznik), Safranbolu, Alacahoyuk and Hattusa can be visited with short detours or extra driving of about 2 to 3 hours extra driving coming from Istanbul.
